Organizers are excited to bring the Blue Back Burger Bash back to Blue Back Square for a second year in a row, Last year’s event was a huge success and drew hundreds of people who came out to sample burgers and have fun.

Join the community at Blue Back Square as local restaurants cook-off and grill-out, which due to the weather forecast on the original date has now been postponed to Friday, Sept. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Isham Road. Each restaurant will provide a signature slider burger and guests can sample and vote for their favorite. Every “vote” is an entry to win a $250 gift card to the Blue Back restaurant of your choice.

Enjoy music, local celebrity judges, kids’ entertainment and more! Proceeds will benefit the event’s partner nonprofit Connecticut Foodshare.

Participating restaurants are Boqueria, Cinepolis, Coracora, Fleming’s, The Place 2 Be, Whole Foods Market, and World of Beer. In addition, samples of non-burger treats will be available from Kilwins, Chip City Cookie, Playa Bowls, and more.

Celebrity judges, who will also vote for their favorite burger, are Renee DiNino of WFSB, Adam Rivers of iHeart Radio, Connecticut Foodshare CEO Jason Jakubowski, Ronni Newton of We-Ha.com, and influencers Alex P. Taylor and Two Hungry Jenns.

Guests should pre-register HERE to attend. The event will be held on the rain date, which is Friday, Sept. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m.
