West Hartford Boy Scout Troop Will Hold Open House

Boy Scout Troop 146, which meets at the West Hartford United Methodist Church, invites interested members and their families to an open house.

Boy Scout Troop 146 will be having an Open House on Thursday, Jan. 12 from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. Troop 146 has been an active troop for over 50 years and participates in outdoor, community service and leadership activities, including “High Adventure” trips to New Mexico and Florida. In addition to regular camping trips, the Troop makes an annual historic trip to places like Boston, Gettysburg, Valley Forge and this year – Philadelphia!

The Troop is for boys who are 11 years old, or who are at least 10 years old and are in sixth grade. If you would like your child to learn outdoor skills, leadership skills and more, come to our Open House and see what we are about!
