Bob Prestash, a West Hartford resident that many know as the co-host of “Two Guys and A Lot of Wine” on West Hartford Community Interactive, will be making an appearance on another TV program on Monday, Jan. 10 – “Antiques Roadshow.”

The episode begins at 8 p.m., locally on CPTV.

Prestash will have his vintage, autographed Tony Soprano track suit, worn on the HBO crime drama “The Sopranos,” appraised on the show. The segment was filmed over the summer, but Prestash just learned recently that it will air on Jan. 10.

To complement his appearance and his national TV debut, Prestash has prepared a “fashion and wine” pairing for his “Two Guys and A Lot of Wine” fans to enjoy as they watch the experts “put a dollar figure on his priceless bit of fashion and television history,” the “Two Guys” Facebook page states.

“Bob’s picks (below) are available at The Wise Old Dog or Charlie’s Wine & Spirits so make sure you’re ready to go this Monday at 8 p.m. on PBS.”
  • The Fashion: Vintage FILA USA tracksuit. Gently (?) worn.
  • The Vibe: Bold and strong. Casual yet confident comfort with a subtle, self-assured masculinity.
  • The Wines: Classic Italians. Senatore Primo, Peimonte Rosso, 2016. And, Cantina Zaccagmini Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, 2016.
  • The Vibe: Although a little strong, these bottles are easy and approachable. The bold fruit and strong acidity are ideal for a plate of spaghetti or a bowl of pasta fagioli. These may not be the most obvious Italian wines, but both bring a strong sense of self and a bit of an edge (remind you of anyone?).
