West Hartford Marking Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

The Town of West Hartford will hold four special events in May to honor Asian-American and Pacific Islander Month.

May is Asian-American and Pacific Islander Month. This year’s theme is “Advancing Leaders Through Innovation,” paying homage to visionaries and trailblazers who have shaped AAPI history and continue influencing our future.
Four special events, open to the public, will be held in West Hartford:
- Food & Culture – Friday, May 17. East-West Grille on Wheels truck will be in the Town Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- AAPI 5K – Saturday, May 18, 9 a.m., Town Hall lot. The 5K route uses the newly completed portion of the Trout Brook Trail. The registration fee is $25. To register and learn more, click here.
