Mayor Scott Slifka will provide the community with his opinion about the state of West Hartford at the Chamber of Commerce’s annual “State of the Town” luncheon on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016.

Slifka, who is West Hartford’s longest-standing mayor and has held the position since 2004, uses his address as an opportunity to speak directly about what has happened in town over the past year and to outline his vision for the future.

In his address to a capacity crowd of business and community leaders last year, Slifka said 2015 would be the “Year of Sustainability.”

The mayor will take questions from the audience following his speech.

The luncheon, which will be held at Wampanoag Country Club, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., is historically a sold-out event.

Advance registration is required and reservations can be made online through the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce website by clicking here.
