The West Hartford Police Department will hold its inaugural ‘Penguin Plunge’ on Feb. 1, 2026.

The West Hartford Police Department is pleased to announce that we’ll be hosting our first ever Penguin Plunge in support of Special Olympics CT!

The event will be held at the West Hartford Town Hall parking lot, 50 South Main St. on Sunday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m. Registration is at 10:30 a.m.

Please join us in cheering on the officers as they embrace the frigid water of the mobile plunge pool in support of a great cause.  If you would like to donate to this fundraiser, please see the link below which will take you to the fundraiser page.
