West Hartford Police: Pedestrian Injured When Struck by Car in Buena Vista Road Parking Lot

West Hartford Police said an adult was injured following a collision with a vehicle in the parking lot of 37 Buena Vista Road.

An adult pedestrian was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with apparent injuries after a collision with a passenger vehicle in the parking lot of the West Hartford Art League at 37 Buena Vista Road early Tuesday afternoon.

According to Capt. Peter Juda, police and West Hartford Fire Department personnel responded to the reported incident involving a collision at approximately 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, and determined it involved a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian, and had occurred in the parking lot of 37 Buena Vista Road.

No further information, including nature or extent of the injuries to the pedestrian, was provided by police.

Police said that the adult driver of the vehicle did remain at the scene, and did not report any injuries.

The West Hartford Police Department Traffic Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident. Roads were not closed due to the incident or investigation.
