West Hartford Resident Wins Yale University ‘Culture’ Award

Watkinson School 2014 graduate and West Hartford resident Cyrus Duff received the E. Francis Riggs Memorial Prize from Yale University.

The prize is awarded annually to that member of the freshman class of Yale who is enrolled in the Special Courses in the Humanities for freshmen who, in the judgment of the faculty teaching those courses, demonstrates the best knowledge of general culture by means of the distinction of his/her performance.

Duff also won a prestigious spot as a Sound Design Intern at Williamstown Theater Festival this summer.
