The West Hartford Chamber of Commerce will host the 2026 State of the Town on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Mandell JCC. The program will take place in the Herbert & Evelyn Gilman Theater, with a reception to follow in the Chase Family Gallery. Attendees may register for the program only or include the post-event reception for an additional cost.
This annual event, proudly presented by TD Bank, brings together business and community leaders for an engaging and informative conversation on the future of West Hartford and the priorities shaping the year ahead.
This year’s program will feature a moderated discussion with Mayor Shari Cantor and Town Manager Rick Ledwith. In a refreshed, conversation-style format, the program will reflect on the past year while exploring the town’s economic outlook, development initiatives, infrastructure investments, public safety, sustainability efforts, and other key issues impacting residents and businesses.
The discussion will be moderated by West Hartford Chamber First Vice Chair Chuck Coursey. “West Hartford’s reputation as a wonderful place to live, work, raise a family, and build a business doesn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of thoughtful leadership and a deeply engaged community,” said Coursey. “We’re delighted to welcome Mayor Cantor and Town Manager Ledwith and look forward to their insights on the opportunities and momentum shaping West Hartford’s future.”
“The West Hartford Chamber of Commerce has proudly facilitated the West Hartford State of the Town for many years. This year, we are excited to present this important community update in an interactive format,” said West Hartford Chamber President & CEO Chris Conway. “For the first time, we will host a moderated conversation with both Mayor Shari Cantor and Town Manager Rick Ledwith.”
A live audience Q&A will follow the discussion, offering attendees the opportunity to engage directly with town leadership. Pre-registration is required, as the event traditionally sells out.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
In addition to Presenting Sponsor TD Bank, this event is supported by Gold Sponsors: Blue Back Square, Liberty Bank, One Park West Hartford Apartments, and PeoplesBank.
