Schuman was part of a varsity 8 boat that finished sixth in the grand final at the 2019 NCAA Division III Women’s Rowing Championships and competed in the grand final at the National Invitational Rowing Championships. Hamilton was No. 6 in the final CRCA/USRowing Division III Top 15 regular season coaches poll and went on to finish sixth in the team standings at the NCAA championships. Schuman made the all-NESCAC first team in May and helped lead the Continentals to the second NCAA championships appearance in program history.
