West Hartford Yoga Offering Free Classes to Cancer Patients

West Hartford Yoga (WHY) is pleased to host WHY Outreach’s first free monthly class offering, Yoga for People Undergoing Cancer Treatment.
Offered one Thursday per month, beginning Jan. 15, 2015, this free class is being held in collaboration with Cut Out Cancer.
This monthly class will provide a nourishing environment in which to heal and connect with body and heart. The 75-minute class will include mindfulness meditation, a gentle yoga flow, and end with restorative yoga poses. Modifications will be offered to create a comfortable experience for all.
The free class will be held one Thursday per month, on Jan. 15, Feb. 12, March 12, April 16, May 14, June 11, from 1:30 – 2:45 p.m.
Caregivers are welcome. Registration is not required. There is no experience necessary.

Cut Out Cancer’s (www.cutoutcancerct.org) mission is to provide complimentary salon/spa services in a caring environment to people undergoing cancer treatment on the second Monday of every month at Milano Salon and Spa in Bloomfield CT.
