West Hartford Youth Baseball players recently visited the West Hartford Food Pantry to deliver a league donation of $950, representing $10 for each home run hit in the 2015 West Hartford Youth Baseball spring season.

Coupled with donations from player families, the league’s Home Runs Against Hunger campaign raised over $1200 to help the West Hartford community. Players also received a tour and heard more about the Pantry’s mission.

Sean McCann, former West Hartford Youth Baseball player, current coach, and catalyst for the community initiative, joined the players for the presentation.
