Westmoor Park Will Hold Annual Pumpkin Festival

Fun seasonal activities are available for families at West Hartford’s self-funded environmental education center.

The entire family can enjoy fun fall activities in a spectacular New England setting right in West Hartford at Westmoor Park’s Annual Country Pumpkin Festival, Saturday, Oct. 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Highlights will include hayrides, marshmallow roasting, “Meadow Maze,” crafts, games, pumpkin and apple sales, and more. There is no charge for admission.

Westmoor Park, located at 119 Flagg Road in West Hartford, is open to the public every day and is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary.

The park has several animal residents which are popular with residents of all ages –  including two new sheep. Westmoor Park  offers a wide variety of educational farm and nature programing through West Hartford’s Department of Leisure Services.

Westmoor Park is also a destination for small gatherings for conference, business, social or community needs – indoor or outdoor.
