West Hartford Women in Networking will present a free Women’s Business Expo at Raymour and Flanagan on May 26.

West Hartford Women in Networking is pleased to announce that it will present a Women’s Business Expo in grand style, co-sponsored by Raymour and Flanigan Furniture Center. There is no charge to participate in the fabulous day full of women-centered events!

A full day of workshops and presentations on personal and business development will be offered, along with many networking opportunities, refreshments, live music, chair massages, exhibitors, happy hour, and a fashion show.

Admission is free, but funds will be raised for a local charitable organization, the Jordan Porco Foundation, through sale of raffle tickets and a teacup auctions. The Jordan Porco Foundation is “committed to preventing suicide in the high school, college, and college entry student population” through awareness and prevention.

The Expo will be held at Raymour and Flanagan, 490 New Park Ave., West Hartford. The approximate schedule is:

• 7:30 – 9:45 a.m. – The day starts with WWIN’s monthly networking meeting which will include presentations by directors of area non-profits. Breakfast snacks will be provided. If you plan to attend this part of the program, please RSVP to [email protected]
• 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Choice of two workshops every hour on the hour. The topics include: Getting your Brand Noticed, Getting More From Your Networking, The Power of Mindfulness, Values-based Decision-Making, Time and Stress Management, Public Speaking, Online Marketing, Abundance, Balance, Bliss! and more.
• 4:30 p.m. – Live music by Kate Callahan, CT State Troubadour
• 5 p.m. – Networking reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres
• 6 p.m. – Fashion show
• 6:45 p.m. – Prize drawings
