A Place to Nourish Your Health Holding Event at WeHa Brewing and Roasting Co.

WeHa Brewing & Roasting Co., located at 141 Shield Street in West Hartford, will be participating in this year’s event for APHH on April 27, 2023.

APNH: A Place to Nourish your Health (APNH) has announced an exciting line up of participating restaurants in its annual Dining Out For Life fundraising event. This year, over a dozen restaurants are participating by contributing 25% to 100% of proceeds to APNH.

WeHa Brewing & Roasting Co., located at 141 Shield Street, West Hartford, is among the participants and will be contributing 25% to the fundraiser.

With Dining Out For Life, participating restaurants contribute a portion of their sales on the last Thursday in April – this year, that date is April 27. APNH utilizes funds raised to support its food nutrition programs – including Caring Cuisine, a home-delivered meal program and an Emergency Food Pantry.

CARING CUISINE & FOOD PANTRY  

Increased nutrition provides persons living with chronic illness enhances health outcomes for them and their families. To that end, APNH’s cornerstone program – Caring Cuisine, provides customized nutritious meals to clients and their families. In addition to Caring Cuisine, APNH provides an emergency food pantry for clients who are in immediate need of food, some basic toiletry items and pet food.

ABOUT APNH 

APNH is the oldest HIV/AIDS organization in Connecticut. The agency began in 1983 with a team of volunteers who provided comfort and care and created Caring Cuisine to provide meals for persons dying of AIDS. In the four decades since, APNH has become a pioneering and multi-faceted organization providing services that include Medical Case Management, HIV Prevention Services, Behavioral Health Services, Food Nourishment Programs, Research Programs, and Holistic Care.
