Holy Family Retreat Center in West Hartford will hold an Advent Program, with day or evening times available, focused on the theme: Be My Light – Mother Teresa’s Journey of Doubt and Hope. The program will be led by Dr. Brandon Nappi on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. or 6-9 p.m.

Shortly after Mother Teresa died in 1997, her secret journals were published expressing a woman of intense paradox. Even as she lived out the Christian life in heroic radiance, she was accompanied by extreme doubt, struggle and dryness in the spiritual life.
