Annual WeHa Whiskey Festival Returns Saturday, October 5

Presented by Maximum Beverage, the Seventh Annual WeHa Whiskey Festival will feature 250 top Whiskies, Bourbons, Single Malts, Rums, Gins, Tequilas, Barrel Aged Wines and Cocktails, and more to raise funds for Hartford’s Camp Courant.

Connecticut spirit enthusiasts can enjoy the world’s finest distilled liquids at the Seventh Annual WeHa Whiskey Festival on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 6-9 p.m. at The Hartford Golf Club.

The festival will boast a tasting list of 250 premium spirits from around the world along with food prepared by Greater Hartford’s renowned chefs at The Hartford Golf Club. The event is being presented by premium adult beverage store Maximum Beverage, and net proceeds from the event will benefit Hartford’s Camp Courant for the seventh straight year.

Special highlights of the WeHa Whiskey Festival include the ability to sample any of the 250 brands of Bourbon, Single Malt Scotch, Whiskey, Rum, Tequila, Gin, Wines and cocktail creations available on the main tasting floor. Over $50,000 worth of spirits will be opened at the event.

A VIP tasting before the show which will include items such as the famed Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon, world class Ryes, Single Malts, and Tequila. The Hartford Golf Club’s world class chefs will be preparing delicious food including carving stations of filet and turkey, mac and cheese bar with toppings like Maine lobster and Applewood smoked bacon, hors d’oeuvres, brick oven flatbreads, and vegetarian options.

Gift cards to top local restaurant groups and whiskey packages will be raffled off with all proceeds benefiting Hartford’s Camp Courant.

“This is our seventh year organizing the WeHa Whiskey Festival and it has been highly successful event the past six years. We are on pace to sell out a few days early again this year,” says event founder, Brian Whitney, owner of Maximum Beverage. “We’ve been able to donate $75,000 to local charities including Camp Courant in our six years and are looking forward to writing another large check this year. Hartford’s Camp Courant is a wonderful organization to partner with and they’ve done great things for our community.”

Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.wehawhiskey.com for $100 per person. Tickets include all whiskey options and food. A “Designated Driver” ticket is available for $50, which includes food and non-alcoholic drinks. Four-packs of tickets are $360, 10% off savings. For the first time, TWO VIP Sessions were offered but both times sold out early.
