BK&CO will showcase fall fashions in their West Hartford Center store and at the same time raise funds for the local non-profit Cut Out Cancer.

BK&CO is getting ready to roll out the red carpet and reveal the best of fall 2017 fashions with their annual in-store Fall Fashion Show, on Sunday, Oct. 15.
This year’s show will benefit Cut Out Cancer, an organization with a mission to provide salon and spa services to individuals currently undergoing treatment for cancer (either surgery, chemotherapy or radiation). Cut Out Cancer’s services include hair styles and color, wig fittings and styling, pedicures, manicures, facials, and massage. In addition, an Art Table and various refreshments are provided throughout the day. Milano Salon and Spa generously opens their salon on the second Monday of each month to give a warm and welcoming place for beauty and support for women in treatment free of charge.
BK&CO owners Barbara Karsky and Karen Herbert have collaborated with Ronit Bachar Shoham to kick-off their Fashion Show Pre-Party to benefit this fabulous cause.
“Every year, we try to build awareness and bring some educational piece to our fashion show with the hope that women will support each other and focus on their health while enjoying a fun-filled afternoon of fashion and friendship,” says Karsky. The Pre-party event begins at noon and runs until the Fashion Show begins at 2 p.m. Twenty percent of all sales during this time will benefit Cut Out Cancer.
Models connected with this fabulous organization will join BK&CO’s own team of models to show off the season’s top trends including lots of velvet, beautiful prints, berry shades, embellished sleeve details, plaid, everything grey, and new denim looks. Herbert can’t wait, she says. “I love styling the models in our favorite fall pieces and it’s always fun to see women of every shape and size looking so confident and beautiful.”
