The Easter Bunny will be “hopping down the bunny trail” to Westfarms, which spans the West Hartford and Farmington town lines, on Friday, March 10, ready to great visitors in Bunnyville with an experience that this year will include two new events.
Bunnyville is a three-dimensional “town” for kids to explore – featuring the whimsical and pint-sized Hoppin’ Fresh Bakery, Hare Salon, and 24 Carrot Bank.
The last stop in Bunnyville is a chance to visit with and pose for photos with the Easter Bunny.
According to Westfarms, special events added for the first time this year include “Bunny Paws” and “Bunny Cares.”
Bunny Paws, scheduled for Monday, March 20, from 5-7 p.m., offers a chance for pet parents to have their pets photographed with the Easter Bunny.
Bunny Cares is a sensory-free experience, and will be held in partnership with AutismSpeaks on Sunday, March 26, from 9-10:30 a.m. According to the event description, “individuals with all spectrums of special needs and their families are invited to a private photo session where extra care is taken to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs.”
Advance online registration for both Bunny Paws and Bunny Cares are suggested since appointment times are limited. Reservations can be made in advance for all visits with the Easter Bunny, but walk-up visits are welcome, too. Photo packages can be purchased in advance, online or onsite.
Bunnyville will be open from Friday, March 10 through Saturday, April 8. Hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
