More than 350 people gathered at the Connecticut Convention Center on June 7 for the University of Saint Joseph’s (USJ) Annual Gala, “Imagine … The Sky’s The Limit.”

This year’s event marked the public announcement of USJ’s Capital Campaign, “Vision & Values,” which will support student/faculty research, student scholarships and USJ’s private special education school, the Gengras Center School.

Pictured above at the event are (from left): Dr. Anthony De Jesús, associate professor of Social Work and Equitable Community Practice at USJ; Dr. Madeline Pérez De Jesús, associate professor of Social Work and director of the Institute for Latino Community Practice at USJ; Fox 61 News Anchor and gala emcee Amanda Raus; USJ President Dr. Rhona Free; and Gengras Center School parents and donors Noraleen and Scott LeClaire.
