The Conard girls basketball team defeated Rocky Hill at home in West Hartford on Saturday, and earn a spot in Monday’s semifinal round of the CCC tournament.

The Conard girls basketball team is experiencing its best season in decades, and on Saturday secured a spot in the semifinals of the CCC tournament with a hard-fought 45-42 victory over no. 14 seed Rocky Hill at home in West Hartford.
Junior Nicole Kradas was high scorer for Conard with 15 points.
Conard, the no. 11 seed in the CCC, reached the quarterfinals by beating no. 6 seed Simsbury, 56-50, on Thursday, Feb. 19.
The Chieftains will face no. 2 seed South Windsor on Monday, at 5 p.m., at Plainville High School.
