Conard, Hall Prepare for Post-Season Tournaments

Multiple teams from West Hartford’s public high schools will be participating in Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Association (CIAC) post-season competition.

The CIAC has released part of its post-season tournament schedule for fall sports, and both Conard and Hall High Schools will be well represented across several sports. Here is a breakdown of the games. A full list of all fall sports tournaments  can be found on the CIAC website.

November 10:

#3 Hall hosts #14 Trumbull at Hall HS, 6 p.m.

#12 Conard @ #5 Glastonbury at Glastonbury HS, 5:15 p.m.

BOYS SOCCER

#2 Hall has an opening round bye and will host the winner of Naugatuck/Haddam on November 11 at Hall HS

Diving Championships (All Classes)

Cross Country

Both Conard and Hall runners participated in the CIAC State Open Friday at Wickham Park. The Hall boys and girls teams both finished third, and have qualified for the New England Cross Country Championships on Nov. 13 at Thetford Academy in Thetford, VT. The top 25 finishers – including Conard’s Gavin and Callum Sherry – also qualified for the championship.
