Conard Student Wins Trinity ‘Brain Bee’

Rushil Yerrabelli, a junior at West Hartford’s Conard High School, won the Trinity Brain Bee on Sunday.

The Brain Bee is a neuroscience competition for teenagers that aims to motivate students to learn about the brain, capture their imaginations, and inspire them to pursue neuroscience careers in order to help treat and find cures for neurological and psychological disorders.

There are currently over 200 Local Chapter Brain Bees in more than 50 countries across 6 continents annually.

The  2020 Trinity College Brain Bee, held Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020, included students from seven different high schools. The winner was  Rushil Yerrabelli from Conard High School. He will represent Connecticut at the U.S. Brain Bee to be held at Kent State University in March 2020.
