The sidewalks of West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square and the front lawn of West Hartford Town Hall were packed with an array of characters Saturday morning for the annual Moms & More Halloween Stroll.
Thousands – no exaggeration – of costumed kids collected candy from local merchants, many of whom were also in costume. There were craft booths and other fun Halloween-oriented activities to enjoy as well.
Some parents – and quite a few dogs – also showed up in costume. Superheroes, policemen and firemen, princesses, and other animated movie characters mingled with some ghoulish figures. All seemed to be having a great time on a beautiful October morning.
