CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner to Step Down Next Month

DEEP’s deputy commissioner will serve in an acting capacity, according to the governor’s office.
Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner Katie Dykes is leaving her position with the state in July to explore new professional opportunities, according to a statement from Gov. Ned Lamont’s office.
Dykes has worked on state government for 14 years. DEEP Deputy Commissioner Emma Cimino will serve as the agency’s acting commissioner upon Dykes’s departure, Lamont said.
