As students return to school, state officials and private partners are joining forces to launch a pair of media campaigns aimed at informing residents how to access help for young people who may be experiencing mental health challenges.

The two campaigns, which will be in both English and Spanish, were revealed at the Legislative Office Building Wednesday.

State Rep. Tammy Exum, D-West Hartford, co-chair of the General Assembly’s Transforming Children’s Behavioral Health Policy and Planning Committee, announced the collaboration between the committee, the United Way of Connecticut and Daydream Communications, which is behind the campaigns.
