Elmwood Senior Center and American Legion To Host Veterans Lunch

In honor of Veterans Day, the Elmwood Senior Center and American Legion Hayes-Velhage Post 96 will hold a free lunch for veterans in West Hartford, featuring Brad Davis as speaker.

The Elmwood Senior Center and American Legion Hayes-Velhage Post 96 of West Hartford will host a special luncheon for Veterans on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at noon at the Elmwood Senior Center.

The guest speaker for the luncheon will be Marine Veteran Brad Davis who has been behind the mic on WDRC and The TALK of Connecticut since 1977.

The luncheon is free to all Veterans and will be served in the Ernest O. St. Jacques Auditorium on the first floor. Seating is limited to 100 Veterans and reservations are required. The event location is at 1106 New Britain Ave. Access to the driveway is on Burgoyne Street.

Kathleen Faroni, Director of the Elmwood Senior Center said, “We are very excited to be partnering with the American Legion to provide this special event for Veterans during the Veterans Day week.”
