The museum offers a series of workshops for kids during the brief February school vacation week. The program fee is $25 per child, per workshop, and $20 for museum members. Please pack your child a snack. Bring a bagged lunch when registering kids for both sessions!

Monday, Feb. 16, 9 a.m. to noon: Snowflake Sachets

Tuck invigorating herbs inside a snowflake-topped sachet that you create and design. Enjoy a frosty snow cone as well.

Monday, Feb. 16, 1 to 4 p.m.: Hearth Cooking

Colonial kids couldn’t just grab a snack from the fridge! Young cooks will use colonial period recipes and cook over an open hearth the old-fashioned way!

Tuesday, Feb. 17, 9 a.m. to noon: Crochet, Knit, or Embroider

Learn basic crochet, knitting or embroidery stitches for beginners. All materials are provided.

Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1 to 4 p.m.: Weaving

Weave a place mat or trivet using yarn, rope, and a safety pin!

Cancellation Policy

Requests for refunds (minus a 10 percent processing fee) will be honored up to 1 week before the start of the workshops. Full refunds will be given if the session is cancelled due to under enrollment.
