The Mandell JCC in West Hartford will hold a Family ‘Chopped’ Challenge on Saturday, Jan. 6.

Who will make the cut?

If you’ve ever wanted to challenge yourself like the contestants on the Food Network’s Chopped, the Mandell JCC is giving you that opportunity in its inaugural Family Chopped Challenge.

Put your culinary skills to the test in our first ever Family “Chopped” Cooking Challenge with local chef Lindsay Perkins!

Spend an evening with your family, cooking and creating a dinner and dessert, using mystery ingredients.

Each course will be timed; you will work together as a team to plan, assemble, plate, and serve your dishes.

The “Chopped” Challenge will end with a family meal, as you enjoy your creations.

Bring your friends, cousins, neighbors; all are welcome to join us for a night of family fun!

The Family Chopped Challenge will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The cost is $10/adult and $8/child. Advance registration is required through the member service center or by calling 860-236-4571.  For more information, contact Colby Wyckoff, [email protected] or 860-231-6376
