Riley Fox, who graduated from West Hartford’s Conard High School in 2024, is a freshman on the Yale University basketball team.

A group from West Hartford traveled to Philadelphia to cheer on Conard alum Riley Fox in Yale’s win over University of Pennsylvania on Saturday night, Feb. 1, 2025.

Riley Fox is shown in the photo below with his buddy Ben McIlhoney who goes to school at Temple University.

The group photo, featured above, includes John McIlhoney, Marty Skelly, Bethany Carrier, Ben McIlhoney, Donna Mambrino, Riley Fox, Maryann Fox, and Jeff Fox.

Yale beat UPenn 90-61. Fox played eight minutes in the win, scoring four points on 2-for-2 shooting. He also had a rebound and an assist.

Most of the group went to the Wells Fargo Center the following night to see the Celtics make a wild come-from-behind victory over the 76ers.
