Chef Dorjan Puka returns to host the 6th annual Feast on the Farm, a candle-lit four-course dinner that includes hors d’oeuvres and dessert, which will be held on Friday, Sept. 28 from 6-9 p.m. at Westmoor Park, 119 Flagg Rd, West Hartford.

The dinner will help support Westmoor Park’s ecology education infrastructure, and help connect people with the land.

A four-course meal, featuring the talent of Puka of Treva Restaurant, Ávert Brasserie and Zohara, will highlight locally-grown produce and products. Patrons will dine al fresco under a tent on the grounds of the farm.

“Westmoor Park provides a stunning backdrop to the delicious creations of Dorjan Puka, Scott Miller, Omar Arnaout, and their team from the DORO Restaurant Group. They always create a special meal, and you can’t beat the fields at Westmoor Park as an uplifting location for a farm-to-table event,” said Helen Rubino-Turco, director of Leisure Services and Social Services for the Town of West Hartford. “This event works so well because of the great partnership with Dorjan and DORO Restaurant Group.”

The dinner is BYOB (wine and beer). Tickets cost $100 per person, and may be purchased by mail or in person at Westmoor Park or the Department of Leisure Services (Room 128) at West Hartford Town Hall.

Westmoor Park is an environmental, agricultural and horticultural education center dedicated to raising awareness and appreciation of the natural world. The 162-acre facility, which includes a demonstration farm, attracts more than 100,000 visitors annually. Although owned by the Town of West Hartford, Westmoor Park operates without the support of tax dollars. Proceeds from the evening will support the park’s ecology education infrastructure.

Event sponsors include The Chase Family Foundation. In-kind sponsors include the DORO Restaurant Group and Falvey Linens.
