All of the Town of West Hartford’s outdoor pools were scheduled to close for the season on Sunday, Aug. 16, as many of the lifeguards and other staff members prepare to return to college or other commitments for the fall.
However, Director of Human & Leisure Services Helen Rubino-Turco said that as a service to the community the pool at Fernridge Park will remain open for recreational swims for one extra week. The pool will be open Monday, Aug. 17 through Friday, Aug. 21, from 1 – 5 p.m.
