Final Round of Road Paving Begins Next Week

Several dozen roads have been repaved in West Hartford this year, and 11 more complete roads or blocks are scheduled in the final round which begins the week of Sept. 14. All work will be completed within a few weeks, weather-permitting.

According to the Town of West Hartford, improvements will be made on the following streets:

  • Mountain Brook
  • Garwood Lane
  • Old Oak Road
  • Avondale Road
  • Asylum Avenue, from North Main Street to Trout Brook Drive
  • North Quaker Lane, from Farmington Avenue to Asylum Avenue
  • Wells Road
  • Stapes Place
  • Burnham Drive
  • Elmfield Street
  • Mountain Road, from Lostbrook Road to Albany Avenue
