The entire community is invited to participate in the Mandell JCC’s free “Fitness Frenzy Friday” on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015.

When the holidays are over, the Mandell JCC is just getting started. For the first time, the Mandell JCC will be opening its doors to the entire community to share in free fitness and fun for individuals and their families. Fitness Frenzy Friday takes place Friday, January 2, 2015, from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Mandell JCC, Zachs Campus, 335 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117.
Throughout the day attendees can workout in the Mandell JCC state-of-the-art Fitness Center with cardio equipment and weight room, splash around in the 25-yard indoor lap pool, training pool and whirlpool, try out one of the renowned Group Exercise classes including Spinning, Zumba, Yoga, BodyPump and more.
Fitness Frenzy Friday will also feature an array of fitness and fun for children including engaging sports classes, activities in the Coolfit youth center and an open gymnasium for basketball enthusiasts. The JCC will also be offering complimentary coffee and wifi in their Café area and lounge for attendees to take advantage of.
NBA FIT Dribble, Dish & Swish Competition
Children ages 7-12 participating in Fitness Frenzy Friday shouldn’t miss out on the NBA FIT Dribble, Dish and Swish Competition also happening that day. In the free competition, kids compete for a chance to attend the NBA All-Star Game in New York City.
