Let the competition begin! Hall and Conard High Schools have partnered to kick off a friendly yet impactful canned goods collection competition, benefiting the local community. This initiative not only fosters school spirit but also provides essential support to those in need.

The collection began on Monday, March 31, and through Friday, April 11 students, staff, and families can contribute by dropping off canned goods and non-perishable food items at designated collection areas near the main office and cafeterias in both schools. Every donation counts, and as the competition heats up, both schools will push to outdo one another in a fun rivalry that makes a real difference.

To add even more excitement, a Bonus Points Day will take place next week, allowing students to earn extra points for their school by donating high-demand items such as peanut butter, canned beans, and other protein-rich foods. This special day will be announced soon, so keep an eye out for updates!

At the end of the competition, the school that collects the most donations will earn a special prize—but more importantly, the true reward lies in helping families in need. So, gather your canned goods, rally your classmates, and let’s work together to make this drive a success.

May the best school win – but more importantly, may our community thrive!
