Hall and Conard Teams Learn State Tourney Schedules

Several teams from West Hartford’s Conard and Hall high schools have qualified for state tournaments according to announcements made by the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference on Thursday,

The CIAC has begun releasing the state tournament schedules for the spring sports season. On Thursday, the lacrosse and tennis brackets were released, to be followed Friday by the rest of the sports schedules.

Home games are held at the higher-seeded teams’ sites.

Here’s a look at the Warriors and Chieftains match-ups so far:

Girls Lacrosse: CLASS L

No. 17 Hall (7-7-1) at No. 16 Ridgefield in the Qualifying Round either Friday or Saturday (Winner meets No. 1 seed New Canaan)

No. 8 Conard (12-3) vs. No. 9 Wilton, First Round, Tuesday, June 1, 5 p.m.

Boys Lacrosse: CLASS L

No. 7 Hall (11-3) vs. Winner of Newington/Branford-East Haven Qualifying Round Game. Hall’s First Round Game  will be Wednesday, June 2, 430 p.m.

Girls Tennis: CLASS LL

No. 8 Hall (13-2) vs. No. 10 Manchester, First Round, Friday, May 28, 1 p.m.

Boys Tennis: CLASS LL

No, 3 Hall (15-2) vs. No. 11 Westhill, First Round, Friday, May 28, 2 p.m.

No. 13 Conard (7-6) at No. 4 Southington, First Round, Saturday, May 29, 10 a.m.
