Hall High School Announced National Merit Commended Students

The following fourteen students from West Hartford’s Hall High School Class of 2016 scored in the top 5 percent of students taking the PSAT.

West Hartford’s William H. Hall High School would like to recognize and congratulate the following 20 students who have been named Commended Students in the 2016 National Merit Program: Emma Brody, Julia Colliton, Noah Drazen, Lili Fishman, Jack Hutensky, Justin Katz, Caroline Kriesen, James Leung, Chloe Li, Michael Li, Nicholas Lombardo, Grace Luipold, Bethany Onyirimba, Hima Patel, Bridget Patterson, Carolyn Roche, Joseph Siegel, Marina Tinone, Samuel Weinberg, and Aida Zhu.

These commended students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2016 competition by taking the 2014 PSAT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test). About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the United States are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.
