Hall High School Announces 2022 Scholar-Athletes

West Hartford’s Hall High School has announced seniors Bridget McGann and Toby Ruffo as the school’s CIAC Scholar-Athletes for 2022.

Congratulations to Seniors Bridget McGann and Toby Ruffo who have been selected as Hall’s 2022 CIAC Scholar-Athletes. This award, given by the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference, is based on academic excellence and athletic participation, along with outstanding school community involvement and good citizenship.

Bridget is a three-sport athlete in field hockey, ice hockey, and outdoor track and field. She is a captain of field hockey and ice hockey. Bridget has earned all-conference honors in all three sports. She has also earned All-State honors in both field hockey and ice hockey and Academic All-State honors in field hockey this past fall. Bridget has also earned CCC All-Academic honors in all three sports for all four years at Hall. 

Toby is a three-sport captain in soccer, indoor track, and outdoor track and field. He has earned All-State honors along with all-CCC honors in all three sports. Toby has also earned CCC All-Academic honors in all three sports for all four years at Hall. Through the 2022 winter season, he has been a member of six state championship teams (boys soccer 2019; indoor track 2019, 2020 and 2022; boys track 2019 and 2021).
