Submitted image

Two senior drama students will direct ‘These Shining Lives,’ which will be performed on Jan. 30 in the black box theater at West Hartford’s Hall High School.

Hall High School’s next black box production opens onWednesday, Jan. 30. Expertly directed by seniors Emma Hines and Rachel Silver, “These Shining Lives” is a moving play that tells the story of a few radium girls – female factory workers whose job painting watch dials eventually ended their lives.

It’s a story of strength and survival, along with the will to fight back against injustice.

Tickets are free for this student-directed series, but seating is limited. Reservations encouraged: https://hallhightheatre.ludus.com. Click “Buy Tickets,” enter your name and email, and be sure to confirm.
