Hall High School swim and dive coach John McClure has announced that two members of last year’s team have been recognized by the national Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA) as All-Americans.
Both were members of the Hall High School Class of 2023.
Tiernan signed a letter of intent and attend Division I Villanova University this fall, where she plans to continue swimming as a college athlete.
Jonah Genser was named an All-American in the 1-meter diving event.
Genser was the Class L State Champion in the diving event and was fourth at the State Open in the spring of 2023. He holds the record at Hall for both the 6-dive (the norm at dual meets) and 11-dive events (championship meet format).
He plans to attend University of California at Irvine this fall. McClure said that Genser was not planning on dividing in college.
