Halloran Roldan Wedding

Congratulations Kaitlin Halloran & Kelvin Roldán

Photography by IRIS PHOTOGRAPHY

The old ‘never discuss politics’ rule certainly does not apply to this happy couple! Kaitlin and Kelvin actually first met at the state capitol during the last few days of the 2007 legislative session. Kelvin was a State Representative for the 4th Assembly District and Kaitlin was an intern, working for a law firm prior to attending law school. The rest, as they say, is history! The couple married last summer.

The bride is the daughter of Donna Anderson Halloran and R. Bartley Halloran, of Prospect Avenue in West Hartford. She graduated from Conard High School, New York University, and the University of Connecticut School of Law. Kaitlin is currently employed as Attorney at Law with Halloran & Halloran, a law firm founded by her father, who was recently inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.

The groom is the son of Sotera Davila and Juan R. Roldán (both deceased), formerly of Hartford and originally from Puerto Rico. He graduated from Avon Old Farms School, The Giggleswick School in England, Middlebury College and Trinity College, where he received his Masters Degree in Public Policy. Kelvin is currently employed at Chief Institutional Advancement Officer for Hartford Public Schools.

The couple was married at the Trinity College Chapel with a lavish reception for over 300 guests following at Trinity’s Mather Hall. Soul System Orchestra kept everyone on the dance floor! After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple now share their home in Hartford with their dog, R. Barklay.
