As Hartford Baking Company prepares to open its second retail location, owner Scott Kluger felt it was time to rebrand.
On Friday, Aug. 19, Hartford Baking Company celebrated its newly-minted logo with a lunchtime launch party.
“We wanted a more dynamic aesthetic and something that spoke more to our brand values. We decided what better time to update our image than during the beginning of our retail expansion,” Kluger said.
The new logo was developed by New Haven-based Box 8 Brand Studio in collaboration with HBC’s marketing company, A Little Bird Told Me. The design signifies HBC’s “commitment to artisanal and local products and partnerships with local farms and the community.”
Hartford Baking Company’s new location at 965 Farmington Ave. in West Hartford Center should be ready to open in October, a company spokesperson said.
