Health District To Offer Free Diabetes Education Programs

The West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District has programs available beginning this March.

Do you or someone you care for have diabetes? Would you like to have more information about diabetes?

The West Hartford Bloomfield Health District is offering two diabetes education programs to help people learn how to live with diabetes. These sessions are free and open to all.

  1. Elmwood Community Center, 1106 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, CT 06110. The program will run for six weeks. Dates are: March 10, March 17, March 24, March 31, April 7, and April 21. Snow make-up date is April 28. Classes run from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  1. Hartford Medical Group, 445 South Main St., West Hartford, CT 06110. The program will run for-seven weeks. Dates are: April 27, May 4, May 11, May 18, May 25, June 1, and June 8. Classes run from 6 – 8 p.m.
