Kid Governor Myra is working with her friends at The Connecticut Democracy Center at Connecticut’s Old State House, NBC Telemundo Connecticut, and the Connecticut Humane Society to bring you a family-friendly pet adoption event from the comfort of your home!

Holding a statewide adoption event is part of Myra’s three-point Standing Up for Animals in Need platform and in light of the pandemic, she decided to hold it virtually.

Join her this Saturday, Aug. 29, at 10 a.m. for a unique event featuring pets available for adoption from the Connecticut Humane Society, Connecticut Cat Connection, Dog Star Rescue, Friends of the New Haven Animal Shelter, and Pack Leaders Rescue of Connecticut. Myra will also show her educational videos about the importance of helping companion animals in need.
