West Hartford-based BlumShapiro has stepped up to Sponsor Leadership Greater Hartford’s popular series for area residents seeking to improve leadership skills.

For the fourth consecutive year, BlumShapiro will sponsor Leadership Greater Hartford’s popular Lessons in Leadership series. Lessons in Leadership is a breakfast book discussion series for area business, educational, and nonprofit leaders interested in improving their leadership understanding and skills. Participants grow personally, meet leaders of different disciplines, and have the opportunity to share diverse perspectives and identify common interests.
The 2015 Lessons in Leadership series begins on Wednesday February 25 and will feature the book Step Up: Lead in Six Moments That Matter by acclaimed authors Henry Evans and Colm Foster. Evans and Foster specialize in strategy execution, executive development, and emotionally intelligent leadership. Step Up explains six critical “leadership moments,” everyday instances when there’s a choice to shine or let opportunity pass by.
The University of Saint Joseph will host the series and all sessions will be held in the Crystal Room from 7:30 to 9 a.m. MetroHartford Alliance’s HYPE is an organizational partner. This series is open to the community but registration is required.
