Jonathan A. Harris was named by Governor Dannel P. Malloy on December 30, 2014 to serve as commissioner of the Department of Consumer Protection. Throughout his long tenure as a public servant, Jonathan Harris has consistently fought for the most vulnerable and marginalized among us – the elderly, children, the poor, and people with physical and developmental issues. His appointment as commissioner has provided Harris with a new avenue to assist those in need by heading the Agency whose very mission is protection – protecting consumers from all communities and walks of life and honest businesses that deserve a level playing field on which to compete.
Michelle Seagull has been the deputy commissioner for Connecticut’s Department of Consumer Protection for the past four years. In her role as Deputy, Seagull represents the Department on the Coalition for Elder Justice in Connecticut and regularly partners with the AARP’s Fraud Watch Network.
The Lunch & Learn will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, from 1-2 p.m. at the West Hartford Senior Center in Bishops Corner
