Letter: Disappointed in Rabbi Brander’s ‘Open Letter To U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy’

Re: Rabbi Tuvia Brander’s “An Open Letter To U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy…

How disappointing to read a letter from a leader in our wonderfully diverse community, a religious leader at that, who only writes about one side of the Israeli/Palestinian dilemma and defends the use of violence without offering any useful alternatives to address this intractable problem.

I believe we should expect more from our leaders, especially our religious leaders, to whom we look for guidance for making the world more peaceful and inclusive.
