To the Editor,
I am lifelong resident of West Hartford and I wholeheartedly believe Derek Slap is the right person to represent our town as its State Representative in the 19th District. Derek’s professional background gives him the ability to hit the ground running in General Assembly in what will be a very trying budgetary cycle for Connecticut.
I have known Derek for over 15 years and have witness first hand his ability to make meaningful change at the state capitol. Whether that was working on expanding access to public preschool or supporting veterans through a state sponsored jobs initiative, Derek demonstrated the capacity to bring people together to advance good public policy.
Derek Slap has the qualifications, the passion, and the demeanor to represent the residents of West Hartford, Farmington, and Avon. Please vote for Derek on November 8th for the State Representative for the 19th District.
