To the Editor:

I would like to add my endorsement of Tiffani McGinnis for West Hartford Town Council.

When Tiffani was first appointed to the Town Council in March of this year, she came to my office (Town/Council Clerk at the time) and immediately wanted to learn as much as possible about how the Council operates, the committees, and of course, the town budget. She hit the ground running – she was appointed chair of the Community Planning and Economic Development Committee and vice-chair of the Public Safety Committee. I was impressed by the effort Tiffani made in getting into the details of council matters and also meeting staff in various departments to understand what people do that help make the town run smoothly. I have observed Tiffani at many meetings where she always came well prepared, had thoughtful questions and comments, and listened to members of the community.

On a personal note, I have seen her “in action” for years while she was involved in many campaigns. Tiffani gets things done. West Hartford  needs “do-ers” like Tiffani on the West Hartford Town Council.
