To the Editor:

I write to you today with the utmost pride and enthusiasm to endorse my wife, Roni Rodman, who is running for the Board of Education under A Connecticut Party. I believe that Roni is not only a remarkable individual but also the ideal candidate to serve our community, and I want to share with your readers why you should consider voting for her.

Throughout her life, Roni has been guided by a simple yet powerful principle: always do the right thing. This is a core value that resonates with many, and it’s a principle she will bring to the Board of Education. Her love for West Hartford is undeniable, and it drives her passion to ensure that all children who pass through our schools receive an exceptional education.

Roni’s commitment to education is deeply rooted, having a Masters in Education and volunteering the last six years as PTO President and Treasurer of King Philip Middle School.

She has seen firsthand many children flourish in our school system but has seen opportunities to make impactful changes.

She believes that every parent deserves transparency when it comes to how their tax dollars are allocated within the school budget, and she is dedicated to making sure that this transparency becomes a reality.

One critical issue that Roni will champion is ensuring the air quality in our schools. Our children spend a significant portion of their days in these buildings, and it’s our responsibility to provide them with a safe and healthy environment for learning. Roni’s dedication to addressing this concern showcases her unwavering commitment to the well-being of our children.

Importantly, Roni has no political agenda other than her dedication to our schools. She doesn’t seek power or prestige; instead, she wants to be a genuine and active presence for our community’s educational needs.

In these times of political polarization, it’s refreshing to have a candidate like Roni Rodman who simply wants to serve our community, make our schools better, and uphold the values of doing the right thing. I wholeheartedly encourage the community to support Roni Rodman for the Board of Education. Her passion, integrity, and dedication are qualities that will make a difference in the lives of our children and the future of West Hartford.

Let’s come together and vote for a brighter educational future under Roni’s capable leadership.

Sincerely,

Marc Rodman
West Hartford
